BEHIND
I am Helen, the person behind helen's view photography.
I am a South African-born, Bavarian-raised Viennese, living in Austria with my husband and our two dogs, Barney and Rose. I have a soft spot for fashion, interior magazines, good coffee, and the company of family and friends.
After eight years in the fashion industry, I became a photographer.
Weddings allow me to blend portrait, photojournalism, and editorial photography, making each event special.
I want your images to be felt, not just seen, and your day to feel like a wedding, not a photo session.
I believe in light, laughter, and love. Photographs tell stories—forgotten and remembered, endings and everything in between.
My passion is capturing the in-between moments of your wedding day.
Travel makes me incredibly happy, so destination weddings are my favorite. They often include gatherings before and after the wedding, whether it's a boat trip or a pool party.
This is why I do what I do: to capture connections, feelings, and adventures!
My heart is fuelled by sea breezes, golden light and the fresh, cool air of early mornings.

Ever since I can remember, traveling has been my ultimate passion. There's something magical about exploring new cultures, tasting exotic foods, and meeting incredible people along the way. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the serene landscapes of Tuscany, every journey enriches my soul.
